Here I am back in good old California, working at a temp agency. For this week I was at TNT and TBS, Turner Broadcasting Company. It has been super slow but a fun job. School has been out for about a week and I love not having classes. I drove home and stopped off in Provo and hung out with my sister Amanda and then went to Vegas and stayed with my Aunt and Uncle and their 8 month old baby. I had Easter with them. We went to church and there was a very nice program with all music, it was amazing. Dinner was great, ABC made some yummy-ness. I had to cut my trip short to come home to work, I got a temp job out of the blue, which was nice, but the drive home... NOT so nice. I left Vegas at 6:00pm and did not get into Burbank until after 11:00pm... in case you are not sure, Vegas is 3.5 hours away from Burbank UGH traffic sucks!! So I am home and just hanging out, waiting to see if I can get a permenat job for the summer. I am excited to catch up with old friends and just be me, with no classes and grades to worry about.
I went to an employee screening of 17 Again last night and it was really good. I was super surprised as to how good it was. Oh Zac Efron, stop being so cute ALL the time.
Summer has begun and there are lots of things to hope for: Like not being accused of a crime, and being interrorgated by over-zealous cops, not arguing with the University about organizations and people thinking for themselves. I am ready for a nice long break!

The NEVER Ending Saga of my Life
Okay, I am sure you are wondering how my life could get any more amazing but I have another one for the record books. As you may know I am the President of the Brigham Young University Idaho College Republicans. On Friday April 3, 2009 at 4:30pm I was informed by one of the Vice Presidents of the University that College Republicans and College Democrats had been disbanded. The new policy had been in effect for a month and we were just hearing about it a month later, we had no say in this decision and now we are just supposed to sit back and let them go with it. We have been meeting with our advsior and his wife and we have another meeting tomorrow the 7 of April to furthur discuss the issue. I am not sure what that is going to accomplish since the Universtiy has already made their decision and without input from the students that this is going to affect the most, those who are politically active and care about things that affect them. There is a time and a place to begin to infringe on people right to do things and this is not one of those times. NOW is the time to be hopeing that young people are being educated and learning about the things that will affected them more then they every thought. Apathy is running wild in this country and by forcing students to not be educated and not care and not speak up about things they are passionate about will only increase the apathy in this country and make an even lazier generation.
